Drops, Withdrawals and Refund Policy
Thank you for purchasing a training course from iSTAT Academy. We strive hard to provide you the best and most rewarding experience while you discover information, assess, and purchase our online training courses. Please read the drop, withdrawal and refund policy carefully as they will give you vital knowledge and guidelines about your rights and obligations as our esteemed customer. By purchasing a training course on the iSTAT Academy website, you agree to our terms and conditions mentioned below.
Students who wish to drop/withdraw from a course are encouraged to complete the course drop/withdrawal form which can be downloaded from the iSTAT Academy website or by contacting the Office by email or by phone. Any refunds due will be issued within 30 business days and all course refunds for withdrawals are based on the Drop Deadline and will be subjected to a Registration Fee of 20 percent, up to a maximum registration fee of $150 for each course.
Drop and Withdrawal Deadlines
Due to state regulations and requirements, refund, drop, and withdrawal deadlines will be strictly enforced with no exceptions.
All students who drop/withdraw from a course will be charged a 20 percent registration fee, up to a maximum registration fee of $150 for each course.

In order to determine refund dates and final drop/withdrawal deadlines, the student must contact us and request a refund prior to the deadline request date. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment less the registration fee.
ALL Course Transfer requests MUST be made within 24-Hours of placing your order and may NOT be transferred to another student. We will ONLY approve transfer requests if the Student has not EXCEEDED the MAXIMUM time allotted. You may transfer your registration fee to a course of equal or lesser value. The tuition difference will NOT be refunded for transfers INTO a course of LESSER value.
Transfers to courses of GREATER value must include payment of additional tuition with the transfer request. If the request is made AFTER 24-hours OR the student has completed MORE THAN the MAXIMUM allotted training time (indicated above) your course fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
General Policies and Information
Open enrollment training courses are held based on sufficient enrollment. iSTAT Academy makes every effort to hold scheduled training courses however, if enrollment is below an acceptable number we may cancel or reschedule at our sole discretion. No guarantee or promise of any kind is made regarding any individual class being held. In the event we cancel a class, students will be given the option of transferring to the next available date, taking an internet course (if available) at no additional charge or a refund in full of tuition.
iSTAT Academy assumes no liability for cancellation or rescheduling of classes for any reason whatsoever. Ancillary costs related to registration or travel when attending training (including but not limited to: Airfare, all travel costs, hotel, per-diem, mileage, lost employee wages, salary, lost revenue, weather or acts of nature) are the responsibility of the student/employer and any liability is expressly waived. In the event a class or course is cancelled, our liability is limited to the amount paid for tuition ONLY. iSTAT Academy is not responsible for cancellations or delays due to weather, strikes, nature or Acts of God.
iSTAT Academy reserves the right to dismiss a student from class for disruptive or inappropriate behavior or failing to follow reasonable instructions or requirements of the class or Instructor. If a student is dismissed for any of the above reasons, no refund or credit will be issued for tuition.
We understand students may need to be in contact with their offices. For the comfort and to ensure all students benefit from our courses equally, all cell phones must be placed on “silent” during class. Students will be given ample breaks during our courses. Please be courteous to other students and your Instructor by taking/making calls during a break.
